Making a Donation to DF-21.net

DF-21 is kept online, and ad-free, so that everyone can discover and enjoy the work of Dark Forces level authors. However (as I've mentioned in the forums) it is no longer practical for me to fund the hosting costs by myself, which is why I am asking for donations.

Since 17th November 2007, our hosting (provided by Dixie Systems) costs just under $4 USD (£2 GBP) per month. We will also have to pay for registration of the domain name after 2009 (currently $18 (£9) per year although this may come down).

All donations will go directly to our hosting and domain costs and will not be used for any other purpose. (I will happily provide a full account to any donor who requests it.)

As a thank you for donating, your name will be mentioned in the news feed on our front page. If you prefer to remain anonymous, you can request this when making the donation - just click the link labelled "Instructions (eg anonymity)" which appears once you have entered a payment method. If you're a forum member you can also have a custom title under your name in the forums, along with a small avatar if you wish (like my Admiral Ackbar icon) - contact me if you would like to set this up.

Note that I've set up the default donation button to use US Dollars as this is where the majority of our regulars are from! I have also provided buttons for anyone who wishes to donate Pounds Sterling or Euros. If you would prefer to donate in another currency please contact me directly and I will set that up for you. Our suggested donation is $10 (about £5), but you can donate more or less if you wish!
