This GOB contains many textured 3DOs which require a lot of memory and/or processor speed to run(and you still may face some drop in frame rate.) Or you may want to lower the detail level of the game slightly. (It's the price of progress...)On PC, extract all files into your main D.F. directory and run DTIDE2.BATIf you are a Mac user (may the force be with you) simply place DTIDE2.GOB in your Dark ForcesData folder and double-click it. Remember to MacGober it first! Also replace dfbrief.lfd withthe new dfbrief.lfd (dt2brief.lfd) for new briefings, pda screens, etc. MWAIT.BM and MWAIT.PALare the custom wait screens for the Mac, and should be renamed WAIT.BM and WAIT.PAL.Custom files ------------* Play Information *Level replaced : SecbaseDifficulty Settings : YesNew BMs : YesNew FMEs : YesNew WAXs : YesNew 3DOs : YesNew VOCs : YesNew GMDs : YesNew VUEs : YesNew Briefing : YesNew Cutscenes : Yes* Construction *Base : New level from scratchEditors used : Dark Forge1.2, BbEdit Lite 4.6, CoolEdit 96, Cool Edit 2000 with Sci-Fi plugin, Photoshop 5, SoundEffects, Brian's Sound Tool, Macromedia Freehand 7, MacGOBer, GobViewer, DF FME/WAX Converter, DF BM Converter, ConMan, Snapz, WDFUSE, DF2, 2DF, WAX2, 2WAX, GMID, GMIDI, JPAL2PLT, EditPad, Paint Shop Pro 3, ImageReady 1, Sound Forge 4, Cakewalk Pro Audio 6, QuickTime 4, FRHED, SnagIt, DigiMorph, 3D Exploration, Poser, BryceKnown Bugs : Minimal "HOM" problems.
