The HOLY

Apostates
believe in the DIVINE TRANSCENDENCE — which comes from the heretical
integration of Technology with the Flesh of Man. Exiled long ago from the
Imperium for this heresy, the Apostates gathered strength while scouring the
planet for traces of the ultimate technology — the legendary science of the
ancient ARTITELLS.
Diabolical,
sentient Artitells — living computers defeated in the distant NecroAges — were
the most foul of all abominations. If the Apostates were ever to discover and
synthesize Artitell technology, the fate of the Imperium would be sealed.
Racing home
to defend the Imperium's capital, a task force under the command of SUPREME
ADMIRAL YAREK P'TARL has discovered an Artitell Tomb he suspects may contain
the very technology sought by the Apostates. Realizing the extreme peril of the
situation, the Supreme Admiral has summoned an expert team of elite NULL AGENTS
to investigate the tomb and the abominable technology it may contain...
