Preparation: Being prepared is basically your allocation of Force stars. If you are sure you will be facing a Light side Jedi, increase your Seeing to four stars and decrease your Absorb to one or two stars. You can also decrease Persuasion to one star if you need to increase elsewhere. A star for the Force power Pull could also be sacrificed if necessary.
Use Seeing ALL the time. If you forget, you will either be Blinded or unable to see your opponent.
Use Blinding. Unless you know the habits of your opponent, it's always good to punish him for not using Seeing. Unfortunately, when you are using Seeing, it is difficult to hear whether your opponent is also using it. I usually use Blinding when my Force mana is high. Don't over use it, but don't forget about it.
Many times a Light vs Light battle will result in a weapons battle due to Absorb (depending on the map). Be aware of your Absorb. Learn to mentally time how long it lasts (remember this changes depending on how many stars you have allocated). It is probably best to start with the saber. If you are able to Pull your opponents weapon, hit Absorb, pull out your weapon and blast him. Be ready if you can not Pull his weapon. Also be aware that Absorb will severely drain your Force mana.
Persuasion is probably an unnecessary Force power unless you are battling an inexperienced player. I would only activate it after picking up a Light Surge.
Control the Light Surge. The Jedi that times the respawn of this power-up will be at an advantage.
