Saber 01: Exar Kun's double-bladed saber
Blade Color:
Blue
Built By: Exar Kun
Wielded By: Exar Kun

I actually gave the original version of this saber hilt to my little cousin before I got a scanner.  However, they moved and from then on, it has been a lost weapon.  So, I tried to rebuild it as best I could...but this time I used PVC instead of crap from the garage.  Now, I want to warn you, this is in no way an exact replica of his double-bladed weapon, I saw the picture for it once, and put this saber together within the next hour.

Version 1:  I am already in the process of making a better looking saber, but this is as close to the original one as i could get it without using the exact same parts as before.

Saber 02: Training Lightsaber of Jean-Luc Walker
Blade Color:
Ruby
Built By: Jean-Luc Walker
Wielded By: Jean-Luc Walker
This was the weapon used by the Jedi Apprentice character based off myself.  He lost this saber while fighting in a Jedi Duel At Baal Legato's Jedi Academy on Corellia.  He later builds a saber to match that of his twin brother,
Jarod, feeling the red blade made him seem much darker a Jedi than he really was.

Saber 03: The Qu Rahn/Kyle Katarn saber [reference picture provided my Kal Joren, Thank you Kal]
Blade Color:
Green
Built By: Qu Rahn
Wielded By:  Qu Rahn, Kyle Katarn

Being a die-hard fan of the game Dark Forces 2: Jedi Knight, I based my third lightsaber construction on this awesome weapon.  The design was made by a friend of mine named Kal Joren [see links page for his site].  He sent me the parts list, and I got started.  In the game, this saber is destroyed, and Kyle takes up the saber of the then-dead Jedi, Yun, to defend himself.  Yun died saving Kyle's life, giving him a chance to defend himself against Sariss.

Final Product: This is what It looks like after I finished the weapon.  The picture is small, but true to the weapon.

BUILD THIS SABER

Saber 04: The Keiran Halycon/Corran Horn lightsaber, built in I, Jedi
Blade Color:
Silver
Built By: Corran Horn
Wielded By:  Corran Horn

After reading this book a few times, I figured I just HAD to have the weapon of such a great character.  Below are the two best reference pictures I could find.  Corran built this saber as Jenos Indiana while infiltrating the Invids.  He left his grandfather's lightsaber, with the man he was raised to call him grandfather [read the book].

Final Product:  It turned out pretty well, in my opinion.  I had to improvise a little on the center, because as one can see [or can't see rather] Corran's hand is in the way on both reference pictures.  So, I added the grip of the speeder bike there.

Saber 05: Sith War Protosaber [Picture Courtesy of Luuksabers, Thanks!]
Blade Color:
Blue
Built By: Jedi of Old Republic
Wielded By: Jedi of the Old Republic

These can be seen during the time of Naga Sadow, Dark Lord of the Sith.  They were hand-carved from durasteel, making them truly unique.  I don't plan on making mine with a hand guard like this one, because I'll be dremmeling it out of wood, and wood that thin will break.  They also had a hip-mounted power cell and a power cord extending from the bottom that I will make later.

Final Product: It doesn't look exactly like the reference picture but It isn't supposed to, either.  I plan on making more than one, so don't think this is it.  I will likely have three or four of them before I am done.

Saber 06: Nejaa Halycon's Lightsaber [as seen on cover of I, Jedi]
Blade Color:
Silver
Built By: Nejaa Halcyon
Wielded By:  Nejaa Halcyon, Keiran Halcyon/Corran Horn

I figured since I have done Corran true so far, I may as well get his grandfather's saber as well.  Its kinda dull, with just a activation switch on it, that is about it.  I think I can do that. =^)

Final Product: I think it came out very well, and I am planning on making this a "guts" saber.

Saber 07: Custom Saber
Blade Color:
Golden Orange
Built By: Reklaw
Wielded By:  Reklaw, Dah-wu Reowyn

I got the idea for this while looking at cutscenes from Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast.  I was trying to find a good shot of Kyle's new saber to no avail.  Either way, I was inspired by these pictures to map out what I thought the saber itself looked like.  I decided to do like Kyle had to do and build this from scrap around my garage.  NE way, here is my final result.  The first picture is my paint version of the blueprints.  The picture of the actual saber should be up within a day or two.  As far as the history of the saber in the Star Wars Universe, the saber was built by Reklaw in his training with Master Skywalker after leaving the Shadow Academy.  Once he reaches the level of Jedi Knight, he built himself a new saber, and passes this massive training saber onto his new apprentice, Dah-wu Reowyn.  Reowyn eventually builds his own sabers, but with an interesting twist.

Final Product: It is kinda longer then I had planned, but it is cool nonetheless.

Saber 08: Yun Saber
Blade Color:
Yellow
Built By: Yun
Wielded By: Yun, Kyle Katarn

This is likely the coolest lightsaber in the game Dark Forces 2: Jedi Knight.  However, it is also the hardest one to construct hardware.  Despite the enormous odds against me, I have finally unraveled the secret behind Yun's lightsaber.  I will built this saber, and if it turns out ok, I will make a tutorial on it.  This i the first hardware attempt at this saber I have found to date.  Which means, I WILL BE THE FIRST!!!  The reference pictures done match up 100%, but they are close enough to deal with.

Final Product:  Well, it didn't turn out nearly as well as I had hoped, but that is because of the thing I used for the emitter head.  I also think it is a little long, but I am happy with it.

Saber 09: Jacen Solo Shadow Academy Saber
Blade Color:
Dark Blue
Built By: Dark Master Brakiss
Wielded By: Jacen Solo

In the book "Shadow Academy", Brakiss tried to temps Jacen Solo by building him a lightsaber.  It was described as a black cylinder with wide finger grips.  Well, I added a little more detail to it then just the description.  I plan to mount this from a Cell Phone Clip, despite it was built in a time of D-rings.

Final Product: I really like the way this turned out.  It looks really good.  The finger grips are on the other side, and when I get a chance, I'll take pictures of it from the other side so you can see them.

Saber 10: Lightsaber of Michelangelo Reklaw
Blade Color:
Gold
Built By: Michelangelo Reklaw
Wielded By:  Michelangelo Reklaw

This is likely my first true custom saber.  I don't know where the idea for this came from, I was just sitting in summer school, bored mindless, and I just started drawing.  I plan to mount this from a Cell Phone Clip.  The back story on the saber is that Michelangelo Reklaw was once  student of the Shadow Academy, bested by only Zekk and Vilas, the two top students of Tamith'Kai and Brakiss.  He was amongst those in the attack on the Yavin 4 Academy, and upon the defeat of Brakiss, and destruction of the Shadow Academy, decided to train with Master Skywalker so as to learn both aspects of the Force, and become stronger.

Final Product: This saber came out much better then I thought it would.  It feels really good in my hands, and isn't as hard on the wrists as a normal blade, due to the angle of the grip.

Saber 11: Ralph McQuarrie Saber
Blade Color:
White
Built By: Luke Starkiller
Wielded By:  Luke Starkiller
This was originally the one-handed saber used by Luke Starkiller, the main hero of the original Star Wars storyline.  Starkiller was a combination of Han and Ben...young, dashing, powerful.  I would have also, personally, liked for this to have become Yoda's lightsaber.  It was the perfect size, and it would have made use of a distinctly earlier time in the Jedi.  But, alas, tis not so.  NE way, here is a drawing of what I wanted the saber to look like.

Final Product: It turned out better then I could have imagined.  I scanned it next to a lighter so y'all can see how small it actually is.  After I get a good camera, I will take pictures of the details of the emitter disk and the pommel.  Now, holding it in my hand, I wished they had made this Yoda's saber even more.  Grr.

Saber 12: Shadow Academy Saber
Blade Color:
Red
Built By: Second Imperium
Wielded By:  Zekk, Vilas, Reklaw, all students of the Shadow Academy, Brakiss
In the Young Jedi Knights books series, the Shadow Academy, led by Brakiss, mass-produced red lightsabers for their Dark Jedi army.  They ALL looked the same, and none of them were all that extravagant.

Final Product: Well, I feel the saber turned out pretty well, while not EXACTLY to plan.  It looks pretty mass-produced to me. =^)

Saber 13: Emperor Palpatine Saber
Blade Color:
Blue
Built By: Unknown
Wielded By:  Palpatine
This saber was first seen on the Holocron Stand in Dark Empire.  How it was built, when it was built, and who exactly built it are really unknown.

Final Product: It turned out better then I could have ever hoped.

Saber 14: Luke Skywalker's Darksaber
Blade Color:
Red
Built By: Luke Skywalker
Wielded By:  Luke Skywalker
This saber was first seen near the end of Dark Empire, when Luke and the Emperor Reborn came for the Holocron at the secret Rebel Base.  The saber is extremely simple, and I just think it is a great weapon.

Final Product: Somehow, the hilt ended up with a slight curve to it, but I feel it is still true to the weapon.  I'll likely redo it, and make it a little more pleasant to look at, just without making it too much.

Saber 15: Custom Light-Sai of Dah-wu Reowyn
Blade Color:
Blue
Built By: Dah-wu Reowyn
Wielded By:  Dah-wu Reowyn, Reklaw
This saber was built by a creative Jedi Apprentice, and dear friend to Jedi Reklaw.  Dah-wu was assigned to Reklaw as an apprentice in the pairing program at Master Skywalker's Praxeum.  His first
saber was given to him by his mentor, Jedi Knight Reklaw.  While grateful of the gift, Reowyn later builds his own unique weapons.  He wields these dual light-sais with deadly accuracy, using the smaller blades to do things a normal saber cannot, such as deflect  blaster bolts in two different directions at once.

Final Product:  I personally like how these turned out.  They are very comfortable in the hand, and they flow like they should be real Jedi weapons.  The hilts themselves are pretty bland looking, being just a metallic charcoal color.  They do have brass thumbscrews for activator buttons, but that is it.

Saber 16: Custom Lightsaber of Jordan Daeloth
Blade Color:
Orange
Built By: Adrian Daeloth
Wielded By:  Adrian Daeloth, Jordan Daeloth
This saber was used by one of my Fan-Fiction Jedi Characters named Jordan Daeloth.  It was a saber built by his grandfather, a Jedi Master by the name of Adrian Daeloth.  This saber was abandoned by his grandfather during the purge, hidden deep underground, to be left in its hiding place until the rebirth of the Jedi Order, and thus, when Jordan joined the Jedi Praxeum, this saber was sent to him on the moon of Yavin IV by his grandfather just before he died.  I started this saber in hopes to build the saber seen on the Single Player Menu of Dark Forces 2:Jedi Knight, but decided it would be a better choice to do this saber due to its significance to my own little corner of the Star Wars universe.

Final Product:  Due to a mistake on my part while dremmeling the hilt so it would fit together, it acquired a slight curve to the bottom, but it is still a wonderful saber, and I am very pleased with it.  The weathering given to the saber is my favorite part, making the saber look its age.

Saber 17: Lightsaber of Zeus Reklaw
Blade Color:
Blue
Built By: Zeus Reklaw
Wielded By:  Zeus Reklaw
I actually decided to do this saber after seeing another saber made of all pre-fabricated PVC joints and the like.  I loved how well it turned out, so I decided to d one of my own, and it turned out really well.  I added a back-story to this weapon.  It belongs to one of the two Jedi sons of Michelangelo Reklaw [Zeus and
Ares].

Final Product:  Wow!  All I can say about this saber is that it turned out MUCH better then my earlier sketches of it.

Saber 18: Clan Saber of Doragon Reklaw
Blade Color:
Green
Built By: Nak-ta Clan
Wielded By:  Doragon Reklaw
This is the clan saber of Michelangelo Reklaw's great-grandfather, Doragon.  It is very loosely based off both the RotJ Luke and Ki-Adi-Mundi sabers, and it shares one of the two sanctioned blade colors of the day, green.

Final Product: I was really just going for a fast saber that looked similar to one of those used in the Geonosis battle, so that I could blend another character into that battle.  It's not a 100% replica of either, nor was it meant to be.  The paint job looks like hell on purpose.  I meant it to look as if found many years after Doragon Reklaw's death.  Its also missing an activator switch, another intentional mistake.  Doragon is a cocky, powerful Jedi...due to that, he made his saber one that only a Force-wielder could use, by hiding the activation switch inside the hilt.

Saber 19: Lightsaber of Exiled Jedi Jean-Luc Walker
Blade Color:
Purple
Built By: Jarod Walker
Wielded By: Jarod Walker, Jean-Luc Walker
Jean-Luc Walker was a highly respected Jedi Master.  During training, his twin brother, Jarod, fell to the Dark Side.  Upon dueling with his brother, Jean-Luc was forced to kill him.  That day, Jean-Luc destroyed his own saber, and went into exile on his home-planet of Tathola.  He buried his brother near-by, and took Jarod's saber as his own, being that it was identical to his in every way.  Both sabers were designed to mimic that of their
ancestor, Master Jedi Michael Walker.

--No Inspiration...I just let the Force guide me through Lowe's--

Final Product: This saber is only one of four or five I have built out of metal, and I am extremely happy with the way it turned out.  It is extremely sturdy, and has a good weight to it.

Saber 20: Lightsaber of Ares Reklaw
Blade Color:
Acid Yellow
Built By:  Ares Reklaw
Wielded By:  Ares Reklaw
O
ne of the sons of Master Jedi Michelangelo Reklaw, Ares is a powerful exponent of the Force.  He holds his father's outlook on the Force not having sides.  Ares built this saber during his Jedi training, keeping to a more traditional design rather than his
father's and brother's views of flashy, unique sabers.

Final Product: I really like this saber because of the texture of the charcoal paint.  I painted it with Rust-Oleum Hammered Black, and it gave it a really neat look.

Saber 21: Double Bladed Lightsaber of Joshua Gilandro
Blade Color:
Magenta
Built By: Joshua Gilandro
Wielded By: Joshua Gilandro
This saber was built by me for no reason, and then the friend of mine who the character of Joshua Gilandro is based off of asked for a stunt saber with two blade so he could do his taiji [tai chi] 5ft staff forms with it...just for fun.  I jumped on the opportunity to turn such a cool looking hilt into a double bladed lightsaber.  The design is a modification of the one I used for
Zeus Reklaw.  The design is simple, yet looks very awesome.  I thought about making it breaking apart into two short-sword sabers, but I don't know if that will hold well.

Final Product:  I should build double bladed sabers more often.  This think look and feels AWESOME.  I decided to keep it one piece for the stunt hilt, which is what I made so he could use it for his forms.  I also made a prop hilt, which I will keep.

Saber 22: Lightsaber of General Obi-wan Kenobi
Blade Color:
Electric Blue
Built By:  Obi-wan Kenobi
Wielded By:  Obi-wan Kenobi, Anakin Solo
This is likely one of the more well-known lightsabers in all of Star Wars.  It was first seen in Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope in the hands of Old Ben Kenobi.  It will also be in the upcoming movie, Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith.  The saber is later found in Bast Castle, Vader's personal caste on Vjun, by Anakin Solo, second son of Han and Leia.  Below, I drew out exactly how I meant to make the weapon, and did so in color coded scheme, just in case anyone else wants to try it my way.

Final Product:  While it is not 100%  replica, or 100% as planned, I still LOVE the saber.  I had a great deal of trouble with the six knobs on the pommel, so I just left it a ring.  I figured it was close enough for a replica made of PVC.

Saber 23: Apprentice Saber of Gaelin Bono
Blade Color:
Neon Green
Built By:  Gaelin Bono
Wielded By:  Gaelin Bono
This is the saber of one of Master Jedi Reklaw's students, Gaelin Bono.  The two sat, entranced in the Force, while Gaelin allowed his mind eyes to gather theses parts and mold them into the weapon they are today.  After ending his apprenticeship with Master Reklaw, he gave the saber to his former master, where it is displayed in a place of great honor to the man known as Gaelin Bono.

--No Inspiration.  This saber was built by a friend who just let the Force guide him through Lowe's.--

Final Product: The saber turned out pretty good, especially for a first time design by Gaelin.  It has a good feel to the hand, and is very well balanced.

Saber 24:  Lightsaber of Master Jedi Michael Walker
Blade Color:
Dark Purple
Built By:  Michael Walker
Wielded By: Michael Walker
Michael Walker was a Jedi of much import in his day, long before the fall of the Order, or even the formation of the Jedi Council.  He was the first to train Jedi out of his home.  He taught them many skills no see commonplace amongst Jedi, such as swordsmanship, Force skills, and most importantly, inner peace.

--Based off Jarod/Jean-Luc Walker Saber--

Final Product: This saber was designed as it was to paid homage by the hilts of Jarod and Jean-Luc Walker.  Michael Walker is meant to be an ancestor to them, and both Jean-Luc and Jarod decided to mimic their sabers after that of their great Jedi heritage.

Saber 25Jedi Outcast Reborn Saber
Blade Color:
Red
Built By:   The Reborn
Wielded By: The Reborn, Disciples of Ragnos
This saber comes from the game Jedi Knight: Jedi Outcast, used by the Dark Jedi lead by Desaan. He and Alora used their own unique sabers, but the general Reborn all used the same kinds of hilts. The same hilts were seen in Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy, with the Disciples of Ragnos... as well as some of the Jedi characters. I think they are converted Reborn from the first game.

Final Product: This saber is very basic, but I like the clean lines and the very simplistic nature of it. I plan on carving the design off it into the weapon when I get some time, but for now, it will have to stay smooth like this.

[Picture Coming Soon]

Saber 26:  Skywalker Family Saber
Blade Color:
Blue
Built By:   Anakin Skywalker
Wielded By: Anakin Skywalker, Luke Skywalker, Luuke Skywalker, Mara Jade-Skywalker
This is one of the most well known lightsabers in all of Star Wars. It is also the most over-used weapon in the entire series. Everyone has touched this lightsaber, from the looks of the stories. I would not be surprised if Ben used this weapon as well.

Final Product: For a PVC saber, I think this turned out pretty well. I am not sure what I am going to use for the grips, but hopefully I will find something soon. The hilt just looks goofy without them.
