Modified Join Page

The join page has been changed to better suit the new join policy in place.  Those who are currently being sponsored by KRT will be listed on the join page.  Any who are seeking to join should email one of the members or contact us on The Zone.

Knight Limit

The votes have come in on the knight limit for the Round Table and it will be bumped up 2 more spots to 12 knights.  Hopefully those who are still trying to get in won't feel so pressured now.  We feel that this will enhance the overall skill of the clan due to our new joining policy and we look forward to knighting some new members.

Sponsorship

JE_Bishop has been sponsored by Syco to join the Round Table.  His first votation will start this Saturday.

MOD Match Postponed

The MOD match has been postponed because some things came up for a couple of their players.  The match will probably be rescheduled for sometime during this week so all KRT need to be training for an all out full force war.

Sponsorships

We have a couple of new apprentices.  Lord of the Pit is being sponsored by Syco and Memnoch (former member) is being sponsored by Kaminari.  We urge all members to train with them whenever they are online and look forward to possibly having some new members.  Their votations for receiving knighthood will start this coming Friday.

Paladin Has Resigned

Paladin, a wise and dedicated member of KRT, has resigned due to his busy schedule and inability to play with the rest of the members.  His skill and vast potential with the force will be missed along with his presence on the Round Table.

Upcoming EA Matches

We've been scheduling the next bundle of matches with EA.  The first will be full force on April 14, the second will be another no force match on April 21, and the third will be a saber match on April 28, so all members are advised to train on any aspect of the game they feel week in.  EA are a strong group of warriors who will definitely be a force to be reckoned with in all categories.

A New Apprentice

Master, former member of Jihad, is currently in training to receive his knighthood.  I decided to sponsor him not just because of his excellent skill but because he has shown me that he is looking for a solid clan in which he can be a dedicated member.  He will be training with the rest of the clan for a week after which his first votation into the clan will commence.  Hopefully by Thursday KRT will have a new addition to the Round Table.

KRT vs. MOD

We've finally set a date for the match with The Messengers of Death.   We are looking forward to this match because most people are saying on the JediKnight.Net messageboards that they are the most elite and skilled clan.  Some even believe that the winner of this match can be coined as the best clan that plays Jedi Knight.  We look forward to this new challenge and are eager to go up against the so called best.   The details of the upcoming match can be found on the schedule page.

Problems with EA?

After our loss to the no force challenge EA sent us, KRT challenged EA to a full force battle.  DeltaRed informed me that they need a WHOLE MONTH before they are ready to play, which KRT feels is very unfair.  We accepted their challenge knowing that they picked settings that were advantageous to themselves yet we still agreed and took the loss well and sportsmanlike.  DeltaRed has also posted up the match as two wins for EA over KRT when it was actually two battles which allowed EA to win the single match.  I sent him a kind email about the matter and hopefully they will correct this mistake.  It would also be honorable if they accepted the challenge we sent to them for a full force battle this Saturday.  They sent us the exact same challenge (same day and time) with no force and we agreed to it whether we were prepared or not  knowing that the settings were favorable to them.  They were more experienced and prepared for the match yet we bit the bullet, lost, and used the match as a learning experience rather than train for a month just so we would have a better chance of winning.  If any of you EA are reading this, please try and understand where KRT is coming from.  Thanks.

Today We Hit 5,000

Today the site reached 5,000 hits which is a huge achievement (especially for a JK clan).  It was kinda funny. I was talking to a friend and said, "I think today the site will reach 5,000 hits."  I went to check and it turned out that I was the one that put us over the top--what a feeling :).

The Match was a Bust

Our match with The Legends of the Sith was a bust due to miscommunication.   Our guys were on the Zone in the MOTS room while they were waiting on ICQ.   The match will be rescheduled for some time in April.

Our First Loss :(

Today KRT suffered our first loss against The Evil Agency.   They are an excellent clan with great players and the win was well deserved.   The match consisted of two excellent no force Canyon Oasis battles and we look forward to challenging them again with full force (our turf...hehe).  The details can be found on the battles page.  Well, at least we don't have a streak to worry about--we can only go up from here.  This loss serves as a motivation for us all to get even better and to improve on our teamwork.

One More Day Until the Big Match

For those of you who know and have played EA, I think you would understand why I'm keeping everybody alert of the match.  They are one of the best clans that play JK and I'm positive that they will be our toughest opponents yet.  I would honestly have to say that they are one of the few clans that have me wondering who would win if we played them.  I guess it's time to find out.  Tomorrow we will be battling them to prove which clan is the best (to some degree) with two separate 2 on 2 battles at the Canyon Oasis (no force) involving 4 players from each clan.  Wish us luck.  Details can be found on the schedule page.

Site Updates

While I was unable to get online, I decided to make some additions to the page on my hard disk and edit the menu to hold more links (it was real fun trying to link to images that I didn't know the exact location of).  We now have an awards page where we will place all of our honorable mentions and awards.  I've also started on the rules page and I'm sure that is something that will be edited quite a bit over the next couple of days.  The schedule page now has a calendar as well which will be updated as new events arise.

Why was the Site Down?

For those of you who may have visited the site for the last two days I apologize.  It was viewable but useless because in the middle of editing the menu and redoing some of the pages and links the phone company disconnected my phone line (don't ask).  I didn't get it back up til about an hour ago but everything is back to normal if not better.

Home Burn was added to the IGZ Clan Registry.

Practicing for the Big Battle

Nothing new except for the fact that our battle with EA is one day closer.   All we can do is practice hoping that we can find some kind of edge when we play them.  It will definitely be our toughest battle yet.

Another Sword Turned In

Well guys, Wedge a.k.a. Acrobat has withdrawn from the clan.  He was the second member to join KRT and his presence will be missed.  That's two members in a week's period! I hope we can find some good players as fast as we lose them :).   Remember, we are always looking for new talent and we now have 2 open positions on the Round Table.

Thanks PCGames

I've been receiving a lot of email lately on the recent listing that our site received in PCGames magazine.  I decided to go and look for the issue today, and sure enough, there it was on page 38 of the April issue.  It made me feel all warm and toasty inside :).  A thanks goes to PCGames for listing us in their "Bookmark This" section and to all of you who have visited the site and given us some exposure.

Possible Site Changes

Well, I was just looking at all the new categories that have been added to our site and I figure that we will expand as time passes, so I'm definitely considering redoing the site.  I'm not sure whether it will just be a slight change or a full redecoration, but something is going to have to change.  I may go to tables to keep things organized, neat, and eye appealing like our current setup.

Clan Battles

Today we had a battle against The Jedi Elite.  It went well and they were very cool players.  The details can be found on the battles page.  We also had a battle scheduled with the Cloud City Defenders, but something came up and they couldn't make it.  We will be rescheduling that match soon and look forwarding to playing them.

More News

Since the site is receiving so many hits, I figure its time I start posting the news consistently.  All of you who are constantly reading our news will be pleased to see an update each day, whether we have to post "NO NEWS" or not :).  Thanks for your interest.

KRT vs. MOD?

Well, there has been a lot of controversy involving MOD, a new but skillful clan which has made its presence known to the JK community.  We have received requests to play them and are currently scheduling the battle.  We hope to have a friendly yet competitive match with these new upstarts and are looking forward to the battle.  May the best clan win.

Gain a Member, Lose a Member

I've got some good news and some bad news - I'll start with the bad.   I regretfully announce that Maze has withdrawn from the clan.  He has decided to take up Quake 2 and play in the PGL.  He was one of our strongest members and will be missed.  Good luck Maze.  I guess as fast as you lose em, you gain em.   The same day Maze withdrew, the votes from the Round Table had become official on knighting a new Jedi.  I'm pleased to announce that Dirge is the newest addition to the Round Table.  He has trained hard with the rest of us and patiently awaited our decision.  We welcome him to the Round Table and look forward to him fighting along side us.

Late Posted Battle

I'm just now getting around to posting our second match with the Shadow Assassins which took place about a week ago since it is just now coming to my attention.   The details can be found on the battles page.

Site Update

Today we have two new additions to the site.  Our first addition is the new art section thanks to Syco and his talent with graphics.  The second addition to the site is the clan Rules/Policy page which is still under construction.   Check back for updates.
