General Gun Tips

These tips can be used no matter what weapon you have in your hand at the moment. If you have a tip you would like to add, you know the drill

Your first concern should always be getting a better gun, or if you already have one, with getting more ammo.

After your gun, sheilds are your most important item, always keep them above 100, and at 200 if possible. Sometimes the fight simply becomes a slugging match, and the player with the most sheilds will win.

Try to keep enough ammo, but not too much. Remember that your concussion rifle with 500 ammo could soon become the property of an opponent.

Always keep moving. Standing still invites someone to take a pot shot at you. If you do have to stay still, be very alert for other players lining up a shot, even moving slightly will throw off their aim.

Do not let your pride overcome your reason. Don't pick a fight with someone who has a rail detonator when you only have a bryar. Do not be too proud to run.

Watch the areas where heavy guns respawn. The players going there do not have heavy guns and are easy prey for a carefully aimed concussion blast.

Remember to lead your shots in on your opponents. Try to aim where your opponent is GOING to be, not where he IS.

Don't use heavy guns when they are low on ammo. You can too easily run out in the middle of a fight. Use a energy weapon, such as a repeater, to discourage opponents until you have more ammo.

Do not camp in an area, especially after you have killed someone. They will come right back to where you are with full sheilds and a rail detonator to blow you up. Always keep on the move.

Don't forget about bacta tanks. They can save your behind when your sheilds run out. Keep as many as you can hold.

Always be unexpected. Do not try the same trick over and over. It might work once or twice, but in the long run your opponent will learn how to counter it.

When you are moving, never move in the same direction very long, other players can guess where you are headed and ambush you there.

Jumping can be very useful when dodging explosions. Keep in mind that the farther you are from the blast, the less it will hurt you.

Learn how to use weapons that require hitting the target exactly, such as the stormtrooper rifle. Most players are dependent on explosive weapons. Your skill with weapons that require you to hit the target will not only help you with those weapons, but also with explosive weapons.

Last one. Always try to add new tricks and moves to your repertoire. Every time you play someone, especially if it is someone you play often, try something new. They may not always work, but some eventually will. Remember that you are never too good to learn from a better player.
