  What 3D acceleration cards are currently supported for 3D mode?

Video Cards: Diamond Monster 3D, Orchid Righteous 3D, Deltron RealVision Flash3D, Hercules Stingray 128/3D, Creative Labs 3D Blaster, Intergraph Intense 3D 100, Sierra Screamin’ 3D, and the Matrox Graphics Mystique (4MB version.)

Chipsets: 3Dfx Voodoo, Rendition Verite 2200, Rendition Verite 1000-E, and the Matrox MGA-1064SG.

What are the system requirements for Jedi Knight?

Minimum

Computer: 100% Windows 95 DirectX compatible computer required.
CPU: Pentium 90 or faster required.
Memory: 16MB RAM required. 32MB RAM recommended.
CD-ROM: Double speed CD-ROM drive required. Quad speed or faster recommended.
Graphics Card: PCI graphics card required.
Sound Card: 100% Windows 95 compatible 16-bit sound card required.
Input Device: 100% Windows 95 compatible keyboard, mouse, or joystick required.
DirectX: Microsoft DirectX 5.0 is included with the game and must be installed to play Jedi Knight. Note: Your system may require the "latest" Windows 95 drivers for your particular hardware.
Installation: Minimum Installation requires 33 MB free hard drive space (plus an additional 20MB free hard drive space after the install for the swap file).

Multiplayer

Local Area Network Play: Supports up to 8 players via IPX or TCP/IP Local Area Network.
Internet Play: Pentium 133 or faster recommended. Supports up to 4 players via 28.8Kbps or faster connection to the Internet.
Modem-to-Modem Play: Supports 2 players via 14.4Kbps or faster modem.
Direct Serial Play: Supports 2 players via Null Modem Cable.

Will Jedi Knight support 3D acceleration?
Yes, Jedi Knight supports 3D acceleration through Direct3D.

How many levels are in Jedi Knight?
There are 21 levels. Plus 8 multi-player levels. 5 deathmatch levels & 3 capture the flag levels.

What type of multi-player modes are available?
Total Combat (Jedi Training), Capture the Flag and team combat are available.

What Force Powers are available in the game?
Basic Force Abilities are speed, and force pull. Light Side Abilities include healing, persuasion, blinding and absorption of force attacks. Dark Side Abilities are the force throw, the force pull, the choke grip, lightning bolts and destruction.

What weapons are available in the game?
Weapons available are the Bryar pistol, the stormtrooper rifle, thermal detonators, the bowcaster, the repeater rifle, the rail detonator, sequencer charges, the concussion rifle and THE LIGHTSABER.

Can I change what my character looks like in multiplayer?
YES! In Jedi you can choose between a wide variety of models to sculpt your visual personality. You can even change your lightsaber color.

In multiplayer can I see what weapons the other players are carrying?
You sure can. Both single player and multiplayer allow you to see the weapons you and your opponent are firing at you. You can also see other players looking up and down, crouching, pressing switches, etc.

In Empire Strikes Back Darth Vader pulled the blaster from Han Solo's hand with the Force, can I do that too?
Force pull allows any player to take your opponent's weapon with the Force. Plus if you see an opponent going after a powerup you can pull it to yourself before they even get to it!

Can I play the game in 3rd person?
Jedi Knight not only allows you to play in the classical Point of View (POV) mode of a 3D game, but in 3rd person too. You can see yourself blast away at the Imperial Army or lightsaber duel with a Dark Jedi.

Can I save my game anywhere in the game?
You can save games anywhere in the game! Jedi has a save feature that allows you to continue your mission exactly where you left off.

What can the lightsaber do?
The lightsaber does many of the things that you saw in the films, cut through grates and panels, block blaster fire and sabers, and as you get better you can even rebound the blasts back at your opponent.Also, lightsaber fight with other Jedi, like in the movies!
