Star Wars Rebellion

Star Wars Rebellion is one of those games that, although not well received by the general populace, is very popular amongst hardcore Star Wars fans. In this game you control either the Galactic Empire or the Rebellion, and your objective is to rule the entire galaxy, which involves attacking and defeating the enemy. The complexity of this game gives it both its popularity and unpopularity. You must be involved in a variety of details as you try to defeat either the Empire or the Rebellion, including troop deployment, number of ships, research for better technology, diplomacy to get planets to join your cause, etc. This is fun for some gamers, boring for others. Another popular aspect of the game is that you can command and control your favorite Star Wars characters, including Darth Vader, Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, Thrawn, etc. As you use them successfully in missions, their abilities improve. You can also go online and compete against other players in order to establish the supreme ruler of the galaxy.

The viewpoint of this game encompasses the entire Star Wars universe. You can zoom in on the different quadrants and can further zoom in to each individual planet in order to view the personnel, defenses, buildings, etc.

Winning the game in standard mode involves destroying the enemies' main base and capturing two of the main characters of each side. Destroying the bases can be accomplished through bombarding their planet or, if you have a Death Star, simply blowing away the entire planet.

INAPPROPRIATE CONTENT
The most overt "violence" occurs during battles, particularly when spaceships attack each other and are destroyed. If you are playing as the Galactic Empire, you can try to assassinate agents of the Rebellion; if you succeed, the game says that they died and nothing more.

CONCLUSION
Star Wars Rebellion is a game that will actually make your finger tired from clicking on the mouse so many times. Even though I really enjoy playing the game, I must admit that it does get fairly tedious at times. But it is a clean game, and if you like Star Wars, I recommend it.
