Command and Conquer: Tiberian Sun

TIBERIAN SUN

Tiberian Sun is the sequel to Tiberian Dawn. It takes place about thirty years after the last GDI mission in Tiberian Dawn. The world is a much different place. The Tiberium has spread at a rapid pace, and much or the world (except the artic regions) are heavily infected with Tiberium. Life as we knew it during the first Tiberium War is a part of history. There are no vibrant bustling cities anymore. There is no economic growth within the worlds general population. The world economy went from a market based, to state monopolized with the large scale harvesting of Tiberium to fund the war effort on both sides. 
 

Because of the rapid pace of infection of Tiberium throughout the world, many groups of people have been lost. They have either died of the infection, or they have mutated because of the infection. Either way, their life on earth is very much life on hell. These mutants are called the Forgotten. The Forgotten do not have any friends. GDI will not help them out. And Nod uses the Forgotten in ways that are not describable. While the never ending battle of ideologies between Nod and GDI continue on, there are creatures, who were once human, now mutant, who just want life to be what is was before the Tiberium Meteorites crashed to earth. 

GDI, after the final battle at the Temple of Nod outside of Sarajevo, has never been able to wipe out the Terrorist group "Nod". Thirty years after the "final" battle there are still terrorist attacks, and Nod became dangerous as ever due to fragmentation of the brotherhood after the Death of Kane. The brotherhood of Nod, whatever faction you choose you allegiance to, always believed in the return of Kane. The second Tiberium war begins with Tiberian Sun, and begins with the Return of Kane. And this time the fate of the entire planet is at stake.
