What’s new?

Jedi Knight: Mysteries of the Sith the expansion pack to Jedi Knight comes with a lot of new features.  The First is improved graphics with colored lighting, which can really set the mood in certain areas.  Also Mysteries of the Sith has new powers, new weapons, new multiplayer maps, and personalities for multiplayer.  Personalities means that you do not necessarily have to be a Jedi in this game but perhaps you want to be a bounty hunter or a sniper.  If Personalities is not your thing there is also Jedi Knight Ranks as well just like Dark Forces 2’s multiplayer.

Force Powers

Level 0 Power
-   Defense
New power used for pretty much Personalities, uses 2 starts instead of 1 and each time you use one it eliminates a level of powers, so if you use 1 you cannot choose level 4, 2 eliminates level 3 and so on.  This protects you from pretty much all attacks since you are not a Jedi in a sense, you will still get hurt but not as badly.  Useful against powers like Grip and Pull, it will automatically protect you and uses no force
Level 1 Force Powers (Choose 4)
-   Force Jump
Same as Jedi Knight makes you jump higher
-   Force Speed
Same as Jedi Knight makes you run faster
-   Force Seeing
Same as Jedi Knight makes things clearer, also if you have your map open you can see other people on the map and where they are
-   Force Push
New Power can push people away or off a cliff
-   Force Projection
New Power creates a clone of you that stands there with fists out and punches air
Level 2 Force Powers (Choose 2)
-   Force Pull
Same as Jedi Knight pulls weapons out of your enemy’s hand, unless they have defense in which you could possibly pull a battery instead
-   Force Grip
Same as Jedi Knight strangles people
-   Force Saber Throw
New power you are now able to throw your saber and hit people at a distance, it is possible for you to lose your lightsaber but you’ll get it back after a minute or so unless you find it lying around
-   Force Far Sight
New power you become a spirit and can leave your body and look around and not get hurt as the spirit, this does leave your real body vulnerable but you will return if you get attacked
Level 3 Force Powers (Choose 2)
-   Force Persuasion
Same as Jedi Knight turn invisible
-   Force Healing
Same as Jedi Knight heals you
-   Force Chain Lightning
Modified from Jedi Knight now you have to select whom you want to hit and it can possibly bounce off of that person and hit others nearby
-   Force Blinding
Same as Jedi Knight blind your enemy
Level 4 Force Powers (For Personalities Choose 1 for FF Choose 2)
-   Force Absorb
Same as Jedi Knight absorb force powers used against you; also blocks pull being used against you
-   Force Destruct
Same as Jedi Knight shoots a fireball of damage
-   Force Protection
Same as Jedi Knight creates a shield around you and blocks anything that shoots energy cells, and reduces damage against you.  Also blocks most powers
-   Force Deadly Sight
Same as Jedi Knight burns any enemy that you look at and can be very dangerous
