Syco's Comments:

Ahhh, what a game! They were whooping us in the beginning!!! :) The score was 4 to 14 for them when things turned around.. Man, a couple of excellent players.. One of the toughest clan duels KRT has had in my oppinion.. Don't let them fool you into one!! :)

KRT vs. GS2

Date: 4/11/98
Opponent: The Guardian Saberists
Tournament/Round: None
Results: Win
Score: 10-6
Type: Team Death Match (saber only)
Stage: Battleground Jedi
Force Level: 0
KRT Players: Kaminari, Mr.Wiz
GS Players: Sith ?, Thrasher S

Comments

There were a lot of factors going against us in this match.   There was extreme lag, we hadn't practiced with saber too much recently, and GS is well known for their skill with the saber.  What allowed us to win this match was the fact that we played with confidence and patience.  Unlike using weapons and force, you can stop using the saber for a while and then jump into a match without losing too much of your skill.  It's like riding a bike. :)

KRT vs. EA

Date: 3/21/98
Opponent: The Evil Agency
Tournament/Round: None
Results: Loss
Score: 15-40 (1st battle), 25-40 (2nd battle)
Type: Team Death Match
Stage: Canyon Oasis
Force Level: 0
KRT Players: Mata Leao, Syco (1st)-Macleod, Mr.Wiz (2nd)
EA Players: DeltaRed, DragonX (1st)-LunaticRed, Mist (2nd)

Comments

What can I say, EA are a bunch of great players.  I think that the team matchups were near even and if not it really didn't matter.  Both wins for them were the result of superior teamwork, tactics, and plain out Oasis no force experience.  They were unstoppable once they got the concussion rifle and the only time our team made runs was when we knocked them both down.  I remember the battle Mac and I played didn't look good at all in the beginning.  We were down 21-7 as they dominated us taking full control of the Oasis and its resources.  We then managed to kill them both and made our first run.  We tied it up 25-25 and then they killed us both.  If we could've held on a little longer we could've stayed in it, and from what I understand the first battle was similar, except the EA players were running things from start to finish.  It was an excellent battle and we look forward to playing them again with maybe FF (our turf...hehe).  I don't think another Oasis battle with no force will happen until we start practicing up on our strategy and teamwork--they obviously did.

KRT vs. JE

Date: 3/15/98
Opponent: The Jedi Elite
Tournament/Round: None
Results: Win
Score: 40 to -3
Type: Team Death Match
Stage: Canyon Oasis
Force Level: 0
KRT Players: Mata Leao, Syco
JE Players: Ga1_Memnoch, Of3_KalidMa

Comments

Syco's comments:

Since Memnoch was lagged lagged immensely, poor KalidMa took all the beating. It was not fair, like it was 2 on 1 but what to do..? :) They are both very cool guys however. I hope I get to play them again sometime (hopefully in a faster game). Syco out.

KRT vs. SA2

Date: 3/?/98
Opponent: Shadow Assassins
Tournament/Round: None
Results: Win
Score: 40 to 8
Type: Team Death Match
Stage: Canyon Oasis
Force Level: 0
KRT Players: Mata Leao, Syco
SA Players: Brown00, Lord of the Pit

Comments

Syco's comments:

Quite frankly, this match was supposed to be posted almost a week ago but due to a misuderstanding it wasn't posted until now. Mata Leao was initially supposed to make the comments, so I didn't really think about what to say. Now, I forgot how the match went. :) I remeber that it was smooth and that they played good. For the rest, refer to the info above.

KRT vs. ECR

Date: 3/3/98
Opponent: Ecliptic Crusaders
Tournament/Round: None
Results: Win
Score: 30 to 1
Type: Team Death Match (part saber/part weapons)
Stage: Canyon Oasis
Force Level: 0
KRT Players: Mata Leao, Syco
ECR Players: GP Matrix, Listy

Comments

Syco's comments:

I didn't have time to collect ammo after an accidental typing kill and mata was already all done with the guns portion of the game (up to 15). Then we switched to sabers, and it wasn't as easy as the weapons. If they didn't have all the fall offs from the ledge, they would have had a higher score. Two very cool guys, and great fighters.

KRT vs. IRN

Date: 3/2/98
Opponent: Iron Knights
Tournament/Round: None
Results: Win
Score: 15 to 5
Type: Team Death Match (saber only)
Stage: Battleground Jedi
Force Level: 0
KRT Players: Kaminari, Syco
IRN Players: Alvin Maker, MandK

Comments

Syco's comments:

Two excellent saberists! The match was very long as it was difficult to get any kills in. Lag was occasionally bad, but for the most part it was bearable. We chatted for quite some time after the game, indeed two great guys. I hope we get to play more often, and not on the "official" battlefield as we might lose next time! :)

KRT vs. JOTS

Date: 3/1/98
Opponent: Jedi of the Sith
Tournament/Round: None
Results: Win
Score: 30 to 3
Type: Team Death Match (part saber/part weapons)
Stage: Canyon Oasis
Force Level: 0
KRT Players: Kaminari, Syco
JOTS Players: Caphuge, Unforgiven

Comments

Syco's comments:

First we played weapons, but that didn't go too well, so we switched to sabers. That didn't go quite as they planned either so unforgiven got mad, while cap was cool the whole time. I am sorry to say that all 3 kills they had were either intrusions in 1 on 1 duels but a third guy or typing kills.

KRT vs. JLS

Date: 3/1/98
Opponent: Souls of the Lost Jedi
Tournament/Round: None
Results: Win
Score: 30 to 2
Type: Team Death Match
Stage: Canyon Oasis
Force Level: 0
KRT Players: Macleod, Syco
JLS Players: Dogmeat, Ge007

Comments

Syco's comments:

Mac and I had a pleasure of playing two very honorable players in this match. We were experiencing some problems with locking up, and they without a word waited patiently for us to get everything straightened out. They are all-round cool players.

KRT vs. BR

Date: 3/1/98
Opponent: Blade Runners
Tournament/Round: None
Results: Win
Score: 40 to 1
Type: Team Death Match (part saber/part weapons)
Stage: Canyon Oasis
Force Level: 0
KRT Players: Macleod, Syco
BR Players: Doom, Ramma1

Comments

Syco's comments:

A very clean game, we decided to play oasis nf, weapons and then some sabers... They had an obvious disadvantage since they mostly play saber, but we moved the score limit up for sabers part of the game to somewhat level this out. BR fought fiercely, indeed good saberists. This was the first time I fought a clan battle with mac, and it seem to be a very successful combination. :)

KRT vs. 316

Date: 2/26/98
Opponent: 316
Tournament/Round: None
Results: Win
Score: 40 to 1
Type: Team Death Match
Stage: Canyon Oasis
Force Level: 8
KRT Players: Kaminari, Syco
316 Players: Risk, Sargeras

Comments

Syco's comments:

The game went quite smoothly, 316 was experimenting with force level 6 even though we advised them against it. They are both honorable players with a lot of potential. I will be hesitant to play them in a clan fight again. :)

KRT vs. DS

Date: 2/26/98
Opponent: Darksaber
Tournament/Round: None
Results: Win
Score: 40 to 18
Type: Team Death Match
Stage: Canyon Oasis
Force Level: 8
KRT Players: Kaminari, Mata Leao
DS Players: Hubes, Lord Danus

Comments

Mata Leao's comments:

This one was one the the most exciting games for us.  They worked very well as a team, gripping one of us while the other shot destruction and rails.  The match started off very slow, then after we figured out their style of game play, we started racking up the kills.  They are one clan that we can't take lightly.  Kaminari had 10 kills, 13 deaths, and 5 self kills, he was the only light in the match and it is very hard for a light to kill when two darks are gripping him.  Mata Leao had 40 kills, 25 deaths, and 5 self kills.  Even though Mata had the most kills, he had the most deaths as well.  We hope to see DS again and hopefully schedule another exciting game. :)

KRT vs. GS

Date: 2/16/98
Opponent: Guardian Saberists
Tournament/Round: None
Results: Win
Score: 14 to 11
Type: Team Death Match (saber only)
Stage: BattlegroundJedi
Force Level: 0
KRT Players: Kaminari, Syco
GS Players: Armageddon, Edoras

Comments

Kaminari's comments:

Shame you missed it but we couldn't wait more. Syco fought by my side. We made 4 duels to the best of 5. That way both of us got to fight both of them. The final score was 14-11.   Both syco and I got 7 kills, Edoras got 10 and Armaggeddon 1. They were both really cool guys, man. Edoras has one of the best defense systems I have ever seen.

KRT vs. SA

Date: 2/7/98
Opponent: Shadow Assassins
Tournament/Round: None
Results: Win
Score: 30 to -2
Type: Team Death Match (no rules)
Stage: Canyon Oasis
Force Level: 0
KRT Players: Mata Leao, Maze
SA Players: Brightsaber, Cyber X

Comments

I'm not exactly sure how this one went, but Mata gave me a brief description.  "Ok, first we loaded up on guns, then we would double team them.  When one of them got a gun, we would go right after him, and blow him away with the c rifles.  They also said that me and mAzE cheated just because we were shooting at one of them, he said that there is no way we can shoot that fast."

KRT vs. HB

Date: 2/7/98
Opponent: Home Burn
Tournament/Round: None
Results: Win
Score: 17 to 0
Type: Team Death Match (no rules)
Stage: Canyon Oasis
Force Level: 0
KRT Players: Mata Leao, Mr.Wiz
HB Players: Boutcher, Quirkboy

Comments

In this match Mata and I once again dominated. I had a very slow start but Mata's name kept popping up on my screen as usual.  Mata had 14 kills and I had 3.  They left before we could finish to the score limit of 30, but I decided to go ahead and post it @:-)

KRT vs. RK

Date: 2/7/98
Opponent: Replacement Killers
Tournament/Round: None
Results: Win
Score: 50 to -7
Type: Team Death Match (no rules)
Stage: Canyon Oasis
Force Level: 0
KRT Players: Mata Leao, Mr.Wiz
RK Players: DocHolliday, Maverick

Comments

This was one of the funnest matches I have ever played.   These guys were great players and of all the clans, they have the best character.  RK is one clan that I would love to continuously play and I sincerely hope that we can do it again sometime.  If we had a sportsmanship award, they would be the first to get it.   They have two things that nobody can take away from them--their honor, and our respect.

KRT vs. JAM

Date: 2/5/98
Opponent: JAM Force
Tournament/Round: None
Results: Win
Score: 35 to -1
Type: Team Death Match (no rules)
Stage: Canyon Oasis
Force Level: 0
KRT Players: Kaminari, Mata Leao
JAM Players: KylesBroEd, Lestat

Comments

I didn't fight in this one, but what can I say, the score tells the story.  From what Kaminari and Mata told me, they played so well that the JAM guys thought they cheated at first.  They later tested us and apologized for their assumptions.  These guys were pretty cool players and we should do it again sometime.

KRT vs. JKE

Date: 2/5/98
Opponent: The Jedi Knight Elders
Tournament/Round: None
Results: Win
Score: 35 to -1 (1st battle), 92-27 (2nd battle)
Type: Team Death Match (no rules)
Stage: Canyon Oasis (1st) & Blades of Death (2nd)
Force Level: 0
KRT Players: Mata Leao,  Syco (1st)-Kaminari, Mr.Wiz (2nd)
JKE Players: Daystar, Imp22 (1st)-Blaze, Prince (2nd)

Comments

This battle was divided into two separate matches.  Mata Leao and Syco vs. Daysar and Imp22 on the Canyon (35 to -1) and the other was Kaminari and Mr.Wiz vs. Blaze and Prince on the Blades of Death (92-27).  I'm not sure how the match with Mata Leao and Syco went but judging from the score it looks like they dominated.  In our match, Kaminari and I just did our best to back each other up and hammer the enemy with the concussion as much as we could.  Prince and Blaze were real good with the weapons and it was no easy match.  Good teammwork and all the practicing that we had done payed off.

KRT vs. OCK

Date: 2/5/98
Opponent: Order of the Cannibis Knights
Tournament/Round: None
Results: Win
Score: 30 to 0
Type: Team Death Match (no rules)
Stage: Canyon Oasis
Force Level: 0
KRT Players: Mata Leao, Syco
OCK Players: Steamio, Boomer

Comments

I wasn't in this match and I didn't get any comments from Mata Leao or Syco so all I can tell you for this match is to refer to the score.

KRT vs. LOL

Date: 1/30/98
Opponent: The Lords of Light
Tournament/Round: None
Results: Win
Score: 50 to -10
Type: Team Death Match (no rules)
Stage: Canyon Oasis
Force Level: 8
KRT Players: Mata Leao, OzNimbus
LOL Players: DGame, Kyp Durron, Master PE

Comments

Well I wasn't there the whole time so I can't say much for this match.  I do know that when I was watching, Mata and Oz were dominating them.   It was Mata Leao and OzNimbus against Kyp Durron and Master PE (at first).  It seemed like they knew just when to team up on them and when to split up and go for some solo kills.  After that, they were disconnected and we met back up.  Then LOL substituted in DGame for Master PE.  They started up the game again but not realizing that the IP had changed, OzNimbus couldn't connect.  It turns out that Mata finished the game by himself leaving them with a negative score.  Mata Leao and OzNimbus played very well and I actually enjoyed watching what part of the match I could.

KRT vs. KDC

Date: 12/8/97
Opponent: The Kryat Dragon Clan
Tournament/Round: None
Results: Win
Score: 30 to 1
Type: Team Death Match (no rules)
Stage: Canyon Oasis
Force Level: 8
KRT Players: Mata Leao, Mr.Wiz
KDC Players: Greedohan, Hobbie

Comments

We wouldn't let these guys get a hold of weapons too much.   I blinded them when I could and Mata finished them with the destruction.  We used the force to give us a huge advantage.  The concussion rifle and rail gun played a big part as well being responsible for most of the kills.

KRT vs. CL

Date: 12/3/97
Opponent: Chaos Lords
Tournament/Round: The Clan Wars/Finals
Results: Win
Score: 40 to 11
Type: Team Death Match (no rules)
Stage: Bespin/Canyon Oasis
Force Level: 7
KRT Players: Mata Leao, Mr.Wiz
CL Players: Darkbane, DeathShadow

Comments

What a way to end a tournament.  Man what a match.   If you want to know what happened, just look at the comments from the previous match and apply them.  The tournament said that the winner could claim to be the best clan that plays Jedi Knight--but we are knights, humble, and unmatched in our skills as Jedi Masters @:-).

KRT vs. HM

Date: 12/3/97
Opponent: House Machine
Tournament/Round: The Clan Wars/Semi-Finals
Results: Win
Score: 40 to 7
Type: Team Death Match (no rules)
Stage: Canyon Oasis
Force Level: 7
KRT Players: Mata Leao, Mr.Wiz
HM Players: Dr. Demento, Dr. Evil

Comments

This was purely a battle of strategy.  The reason why we shut these guys out so badly is because we decided to try something new thanks to Wedge's strategic mind.  Mr.Wiz used the light side of the force while Mata Leao remained on the dark side.  Both of our opponents were on the dark side so Mr.Wiz just kept on running around absorbing all their force and blinding them while Mata Leao would just finish them off.  In this match Mr.Wiz served as bait while Mata Leao handled all but 1 of the kills.  One of their players got so upset that he left early because he said that it was hopeless.

KRT vs. GMS

Date: 12/2/97
Opponent: Guild of the Morning Star
Tournament/Round The Clan Wars/2nd Round
Results: Win
Score: 40 to 15
Type: Team Death Match (no rules)
Stage: Canyon Oasis
Force Level: 7
KRT Players: Mata Leao, Mr.Wiz
GMS Players: Slug, Titan

Comments

Mata Leao and Mr.Wiz do it again.  This match was good.   Mr.Wiz and Mata Leao both play with the dark side of the force while GMS had both the light and dark sides making the game slightly awkward.  We still ended up pulling it out with a pretty good margin thanks to Mata Leao piggy backing Mr.Wiz in the early stages of the match.

KRT vs. JOD

Date: 12/1/97
Opponent: Jedis of Death
Tournament/Round The Clan Wars/First Round
Results: Win
Score: 40 to14
Type: Team Death Match (no rules)
Stage: Canyon Oasis
Force Level: 7
KRT Players: Mata Leao, Mr.Wiz
JOD Players: Mew, Vertigo

Comments

An excellent first match.  In the very beginning we were down by 1 or 2 kills but we quickly got our act together.  Once we got use to seeing balls of destruction flying all over the place, we quickly came back.  Mata Leao (23 kills) fought fiercely handling most of the kills and Mr.Wiz (17 kills) played conservatively dying only twice while backing Mata Leao up with destruction and the Concussion Rifle.  It was an excellent match and the JOD players were no joke.   If we ever end up playing them again, we will have to go into the game a little more cautious.
